At DaDesktop, we take the privacy of everyone who uses our services seriously. This policy outlines how we gather and handle your personal information, along with the safeguards we have in place to protect it.
We only collect and use personal data as needed to deliver our services to you, or for the legitimate purposes detailed in this privacy policy. A key point to understand is that the way data is collected and stored varies significantly depending on which hosting service you choose.
NobleProg Hosted Public Server
This environment runs inside a NobleProg data centre (within the EU and fully GDPR-compliant). It is a shared server for NobleProg clients and can be accessed by NobleProg.
If you opt for a server located outside the EU, local data protection rules may come into effect. Customer data originating from the UK is kept within the UK.
NobleProg Hosted Private Server
This operates within a NobleProg data centre (based in the EU). It is a dedicated server reserved for one organisation, meaning no other organisation will use the physical hardware.
Should you select a server situated outside the EU, local legislation may apply.
On-Premise Server
With this option, the server is physically located on your organisation’s own site. The software is installed on the server, and all data remains entirely under that organisation’s control.
Data Categories
Here are the types of data we collect:
User Account / Personal Data

Private Server
On-Premise Server
To gain access to DaDesktop, you will need to register an account.
When you register, you supply us with personal details like your name, email address, username, and password.
We gather this information because it is essential for granting you access to our services and upholding the security of our platform.
We might use your details to send you account-related messages.
We keep your account data for as long as your account remains active.
You can cancel your account at any time, and once you do, we will delete your account data.
The client can decide whether to manage users directly or ask NobleProg to handle user management for them.
The server can be locked down with encryption to stop NobleProg from having any access.
No data is gathered or stored on our side.
NobleProg has absolutely no access.
Training Room Data (including cloud desktop activity and chat function)
Shared Server
Private Server
On-Premise Server
All activity inside the Training Room can be observed by the course instructor, training management, and our technical support team.
We provide this monitoring so we can assign adequate data resources, assist you with any difficulties, allow the instructor and management to track course progress, and ensure that everyone sticks to our Terms of Service.
The terms of use strictly forbid users from carrying out personal activities, like accessing social media, making financial transactions, or conducting personal web searches.
The data is purged once the course has been confirmed as ‘finished’.
Any data collected and stored is entirely under the client’s management.
NobleProg has no access at all.
Video / Audio Data
Shared Server
Private Server
On-Premise Server
DaDesktop can include a built-in audio/video feature.
This capability runs on NobleProg’s own infrastructure (not third-party software).
Course Desktops (including Fresh-start, Trainer, and Participants) may be recorded for troubleshooting reasons. No audio data is captured. These recordings are automatically deleted 14 days after the course wraps up. Only NobleProg administrators holding SuperAdmin privileges can view these recordings.
The client is responsible for managing all data collected and stored.
If needed, Course Desktops and Recordings may be recorded for troubleshooting and other reasons (refer to the Shared Server section). The client takes full responsibility for these recordings, and thanks to the automated deletion process, they are removed after 14 days.
No data is collected or retained.
NobleProg has no access whatsoever.
Record Feature
Shared Server
Private Server
On-Premise Server
Clients have the option to record the course desktop.
When the recording option is activated, NobleProg stores the recording and has the ability to monitor it. The account holder decides when it gets removed.
If the account is closed down, all associated recordings are erased.
Clients can choose whether to record the course desktop or not.
The client is fully in charge of all data that gets collected and stored.
NobleProg has no access whatsoever.
Technical Support
If you reach out to us for technical support, you will need to share some personal details, which could include your name, your employer, email address, phone number, time zone, and the reason you need help. We use this support information to solve your issue and to get a better picture of the challenges our users face. All technical support is handled in-house by NobleProg.
