Managing the Deletion Schedule for Standalone Machines

What's the point of a deletion schedule?

If you're using a Standalone machine to pick up where you left off in a previous lab for a course you've taken, or you're a trainer preparing materials, there's no need to worry.

However, to make better use of system resources, any standalone machine idle for more than a month will be automatically marked for deletion, and you'll get a heads-up 7 days before it happens.

You can always cancel that deletion schedule.
 

How to schedule a standalone machine's deletion yourself.

1. During the creation of a standalone desktop, you can specify a deletion date.

1. Pick a deletion date from the Options menu

How to remove the scheduled deletion date

1. In the Options menu, click “Scheduled to delete on”

2. Hover over the blue toggle icon and click it to instantly clear the deletion date
