Recordings Management (Beta)

Within a course's Recordings tab, you can now handle your videos and recordings for that course page. While this functionality is currently in its Beta phase, it already allows you to create Modules, edit and trim recordings, among other capabilities.

 

Recordings Management Button

On the recordings tab, a large blue button labelled 'Recording Management' now appears on the left-hand side of the page. As you create recordings throughout the course, they will gather on this page, possibly tagged as Trainer, Training Room, or Participant.

If you're sure you've made recordings but they aren't showing up yet, use the refresh button located next to the 'Recording Management' button.

Clicking that button opens a new pop-up screen.

From here, you can edit any video by clicking its pencil icon.

 

You can set up Modules by clicking the (+) icon beneath the Modules box.

After creating modules, you can begin placing videos beneath them. You can drag and drop videos

 

 

Alternatively, you can manually assign it while editing the video.

Video Editing

Basic video editing is possible. For instance, if there are moments in your recording where you're idle or struggling to locate a file, and you'd rather them not appear in your demonstration, you can click the scissors icon and perform some trimming to adjust the video.

 

This brings up an Edit/Cut Recording window where you can scrub through and cut your video. Once you're satisfied with the edits, you can process the video to render the changes.
