GPU support
DaDesktop offers two methods for GPU support:
- Physical GPU passthrough (accessible in select data centers). This delivers complete hardware acceleration by leveraging a genuine graphics card.
- GPU simulation through LLVM Pipe. This functions flawlessly with all our Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04. At present, however, it is not compatible with Windows 10.
If you're uncertain whether your intended application needs a GPU (for instance, Blender does), you might encounter a message similar to this:
"A graphics card and driver supporting OpenGL 3.3 or later is necessary. Installing the most recent driver for your graphics card could fix the issue."
