Server Administration
You have the ability to add or remove servers from your On-Premise or OEM DaDesktop cloud environment.
Synchronize All System Data
This process examines each server's CPU, memory, and other specifications, then updates the database accordingly. DaDesktop leverages this information when recommending servers to users, giving priority to those with more resources.
After hardware upgrades, you can sync every server or just a single one.
Keep in mind that if your server count exceeds a thousand, this operation could take a few minutes.
Alter Server State (Suspend, Reinstate)
Suspending a server renders it inaccessible, which halts the DaDesktop GUI from checking the server's status and its desktops.
You might use this when a server becomes unavailable due to a malfunction.
Server Retirement
To phase out a specific server, you can set it to retirement mode. This prevents new desktops from being created on that server, while existing desktops remain functional or can be transferred to other servers.
